Chicago-based boutique’s first ever collaboration with Nike dropped at the end of January. Releasing two Dunk Hi colourways, these were inspired by traditional workwear, and the rugged, hardworking attitudes of Midwesterners. Menswear label Todd Snyder’s latest collab with New Balance is the 992 “From Away”. Taking the ever popular model, it incorporates its own unique twist with a duck camo printed canvas base layer, with tan suede and leather accents on top. Originally released in 2000, the Stussy collab with Nike on the Air Huarache “Desert Oak” made its return 21 years later. Releasing alongside the “Dark Olive” colourway, these dropped just ahead of Valentine’s Day, and I managed to take a W at the Stussy Toronto store. The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro QS “Street Hawker” celebrates Chinese cuisine, highlighting 6 unique dishes from 6 unique regions in China. Done in mismatching fashion, these incorporate a ton of details, materials and patterns, and is definitely one of the top shoes of the year so far.
