The latest Nike and Off-White collab landed on October 1st, with the Air Rubber Dunk in a trio of colours. Released as regional exclusives, this “Green Strike” pair released in North America, and I managed to scoop up a pair for my latest review! Taking the classic Dunk for a spin, Virgil Abloh drastically changes its look with changes like a visible Air unit on the heel, and rubber overlays paying homage to skateboarding. Inspired by the ZX runners from their past catalogue, these incorporate a modern day upgrade – most notably by including a full length Boost midsole. My fave from the Nike Sportswear Recycled Canvas pack, my latest review covers the Air Max 90! Constructed out of recycled canvas, foam and leather, these shoes contain approximately 20% reused materials. Beyond that though, they are a beautiful colourway that I was very excited for. Pharrell Williams’ Hu NMD recently returned after a brief hiatus with the “Extra Eye” colourway! Bringing back the OG sole instead of the trail version we’ve been seeing a lot more in recent releases, these incorporate a three-tone Primeknit upper, a thick Boost midsole and the usual PW x Adidas branding throughout. The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 returned with the all-new “Carbon” colourway. This version incorporates a predominantly black coloured Primeknit upper, atop a thick Boost midsole for cushioning along with the typical Yeezy finishes. Releasing this past weekend, the Air Jordan 13 landed in stores in the “Lucky Green” colourway. Drawing similarities to the Ray Allen PE version from 2011, these incorporate tumbled white leather with hits of black and vibrant green to round out the look. Union and Jordan Brand returned for a second collab, this time on the Air Jordan 4! StockX hooked me up with the “Off Noir” colourway which I’m covering in my latest review! Done in a vintage look, these incorporate a few changes to the traditional look of the Jordan 4 including a stitched down tongue that had the sneaker world in a frenzy, for both good and bad reasons.
