Adidas’ latest collection of Ultraboosts draws inspiration from the famed Game Of Thrones TV series, with colourways paying homage to the various houses of the show. In celebration of Chinese New Year, author, chef, and TV producer, Eddie Huang teamed up with Adidas to release a special edition Ultra Boost model. Draped in all red with hits of gold, colours synonymous with Chinese culture, these were a must-cop for me, not only because of my own heritage but because they simply are, in my opinion, one of the dopest Ultra Boosts to drop in a long while! BAPE and Adidas dropped a huge football-inspired collection this past Saturday, and headlining the release were the camo Ultra Boosts in the head-turning “Green” colourway! Selling out instantly, these featuring a BAPE-Camo Primeknit upper with BAPE detailing found throughout the shoe. Following up to the highly successful Yeezy Boost 700 model, Adidas released a V2 version to close out 2018. With an all new upper, the “Static” colourway features a mesh upper with overlays of nubuck and reflective 3M, to create a very sleek looking sneaker. To close out 2018, Adidas dropped one more Yeezy Boost 350 V2, this time in a static-patterned primeknit. Most notably, these also replaced the traditional stripe on the lateral side with translucent netting, giving the wearer a unique opportunity to add their own flavour through their sock game.
