Ronnie Fieg worked with Adidas Originals and Clarks to design and release the 8th Street Samba – a unique twist on this classic Adidas shoe. Sold out quickly, and then offered up again as a pre-order earlier this year, I finally got my hands on the pair I ordered – the “Summit White” colourway. Check out my review of this mashup model and let me know if you think these are one of the best Adidas releases of the year!

Kith x Adidas Rod Laver “White / Royal” Review
As part of Kith and Adidas Originals fall 2023 lineup, I picked up one of the shoes that released – the Rod Laver. Named after the Australian tennis great, this shoe dates back to the 70s and has been more of a cult classic sneaker that has retroed a few times throughout history. This new colourway for Kith though is clean, minimalistic, and perfect for those not looking to boldly display a company’s logo on their feet.
Adidas Crazy Infinity “Chalk” Review
Adidas Originals recently released this new model, the Crazy IIInfinity, paying tribute to their Kobe or Crazy line from the early 2000s. With a Y2K flavour to it, it fits right into 2023 fashion and builds upon the legacy of their Kobe line with modern day additions to make it stand on its own! Check out my review to learn more!
The Simpsons x Adidas Stan Smith “Homer Simpson” Review
The meme has become a reality! Adidas Canada just released this special Stan Smith in collaboration with The Simpsons, paying homage to the famous GIF of Homer retreating back into the bush. Opting for a classic Stan Smith construction with smooth white leather, the heel features a chenille finish to it along with Homer himself embroidered across. Check out my in-depth review and to see how they look on feet!
Unheardof x Adidas Rivalry Low “Erika’s Poem” Review
Cincinnati-based skateboard and sneaker shop, Unheardof, recently released their first collaboration with Adidas with the Rivalry Low “Erika’s Poem”. Inspired by owner, Phil Lipschutz’ late sister, Erika, who took her life in 2005, these incorporate deep and personal details such as a tracing of a poem she wrote in a notebook which is featured on the blue leather upper. A Bathing Ape x Adidas Campus 80s “30th Anniversary” (Collegiate Navy) Review
Adidas and A Bathing Ape recently (and quietly) released this special edition Campus 80 shoe that celebrated BAPE’s 30th year in business. This under-the-radar release came in special packaging and was dressed in rich, navy blue suede, with mismatching sides of the shoe paying homage to both brands. Adidas Crazy 1 (The Kobe) “Stormtrooper” Review
Before his time with Nike, the late Kobe Bryant was an Adidas-sponsored athlete. His second last signature shoe, The Kobe, recently returned in retro form in the original “Stormtrooper” colourway. Check out my review of these 2000s-era basketball shoes and drop a comment down below if you’re a fan!
