Originally a PE that was unveiled in 2022, Jordan Brand brought back an alternate colourway of the Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 1 Low, this one being an Asia exclusive. Featuring beige suede and textile overlays, the layers depict cranes and Japanese cherry blossoms, as a nod to his heritage. Check out my review and see how these are on feet!
First released in 2007, the “Black Cat” Air Jordan 3 has finally returned. This black-out colourway features a nubuck upper, shiny patent leather layers, and the signature elephant print but also turned all-black. Given the popularity of the “Black Cat” 4s, it’ll be interesting to see how these fare in today’s sneaker climate! Is anyone picking these up?
In Jordan Brand tradition, to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year, they’re releasing a special edition Air Jordan 1 Low OG. This “Year of the Snake” colourway pairs smooth white and grey leather with ripstop nylon (reminiscent of snakeskin) and iridescent accents. Six years since they last retroed, Jordan Brand has brought back the iconic “Black Cement” colourway of the Air Jordan 3. This original colourway from ’88 features a cut that’s more streamlined and similar to the OGs than in years past. It’s crafted using a soft black leather with elephant print and hits of red to complete the look. Check out my early review and let me know if you plan on picking up a pair this weekend!
Jordan Brand continues their “Reimagined” series with the release of the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe”. Mimicking the look of the prototype version without the iconic “Wings” logo, this pair features quality leathers on the upper in the classic red, white and black make up. Travis Scott and Jordan Brand are back with another Air Jordan 1 Low. This familiar looking colourway, “Medium Olive”, was seen in last year’s women’s release, but this version features more olive tones with black accents instead of the inverse for last year’s. To celebrate their 10th anniversary, A Ma Maniere is releasing the “While You Were Sleeping” collection, consisting of a collection of sneakers under the Nike / Jordan / Converse umbrella. The latest to release is this beautiful Air Jordan 4, which is crafted using a mix of smooth nubuck and hairy suede in a warm, tan tone. Tune into my video for an in-depth review!
Pro-biker, Nigel Sylvester, just launched his second official colourway of his Air Jordan 4 RM collaboration with Jordan Brand. This reworked take on the classic model sees a redesigned upper with a lower cut, but the same tooling as before with visible heel Air. The colourway also pays homage to his roots of learning how to bike on his Grandma’s driveway! Check out the video to learn more!
The incredibly popular “Dark Mocha” Air Jordan 1, which dropped first in 2020 as a high top, returns later this week as a Low. Featuring the same look with a sail leather base, black leather overlays and dark mocha coloured nubuck, these are the perfect shoe to wear in the fall months ahead!
