Nicknamed the “Reverse JJJJound” colourway, it features a mix of ripstop, pig suede and other synthetic layers in cream, tan and brown tones. Inspired by the teams that call MSG home, the pair I’m reviewing today draw inspiration from the team colours of the NHL’s New York Rangers. This Made in USA pair features a predominantly navy blue upper, with the Rangers’ signature red and blue hits seen throughout, along with an icy outsole as a nod to the sport. I recently picked up a pair of the New Balance 990 V6 “Sulphur” on sale, which had previously been sitting on store shelves for weeks. This Made in USA pair, part of Teddy Santis’ Season 3 collection, features a mix of pale yellow mesh and pig suede, along with bold green accents with the New Balance “N” logo and tongue.
