Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance are back with another collaboration. Although these were available for preorder last summer, they finally began shipping out their collab on the 1300 model just recently. New Balance, Nice Kicks, and California-based record shop Amoeba Msuic, teamed up this month to release two colourways of the 992 model. Inspired by Amoeba’s logo, design, and signage, I picked up the Grey / Yellow pair recently, which was my favourite of the two. Today’s review is about the New Balance 992 (M992RR). This pair dropped without much news or anticipation, and has become somewhat of a hard shoe to obtain. Made in USA, it incorporates mesh, leather and premium suede in tones of blue, teal, grey and yellow. Check out my review for a closer look and let me know down below what you think of these!
Though these dropped in January, I just picked up a pair of the Sneakersnstuff collaboration with New Balance on the 920 model! These incorporate a bold orange coloured upper with pine green suede accents, for a vintage feel that definitely has a striking look to it. The New Balance 991 celebrated its 20th anniversary with the release of a special model which pays homage to its past 20 years. Menswear label Todd Snyder’s latest collab with New Balance is the 992 “From Away”. Taking the ever popular model, it incorporates its own unique twist with a duck camo printed canvas base layer, with tan suede and leather accents on top.
