JJJJound released their elevated take on the Adidas Samba late last month – but it wasn’t without controversy. Advertised as a “Made in Germany” shoe, it came to light that the pairs were actually largely manufactured in Vietnam, with only the finishing touches actually done in the European country instead. Heroes in a half shell! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles celebrate their 40th anniversary with this collab with Adidas on the Superstar silhouette! Celebrating the original 1984 look with all-red bandanas, the shoe is crafted using premium green tumbled leather, TMNT dubraes and a ton of other easter eggs throughout. The newest Nike Air Max model has arrived – the Air Max DN. Featuring Dynamic Air technology, it is built to give the wearer a more dynamic feel underfoot, with a massive, two chamber, four tube Air unit in the heel which features two distinct pressure levels. For my newest video I’m reviewing the upcoming New Balance 1906R “Polka Dot Pack”, which includes these two pairs in my video – the “Sea Salt” and “Phantom” colourways. These are done in inverted fashion with a dotted pattern incorporated onto the mesh base. Meanwhile, genuine leather covers the upper in a surprise, premium twist.
