Before 2021 ends, I picked up another New Balance shoe. This time it’s the 1500 in the “Slate Blue / Grey” colourway. This made in England pair is incredibly crafted, with quality nubuck in a cool, simple combination of grey and blue tones. My latest sneaker pickup and review is the Nike Sportswear Dunk Low in the “Goldenrod” colourway. With a full leather construction, yellow and black coloured leather panels give the shoe a striking look, with a clean white midsole to break up the colours. Adidas Canada sent me a pair of the recently released Forum Low “Home Alone”. Inspired by the shoe worn by character Kevin McAllister in the movie, these Forums are constructed out of an off-white and red leather combo, with a bunch of references on the shoe which pay homage to Kevin’s booby traps in the movie.
