In today’s video I’m counting down five of my favourite “no hype” sneakers for summer! This means pairs that are readily available, and not being resold for 2-3x their retail prices! You won’t need to break the bank to have a solid sneaker rotation this summer! Check out my recommendations and let me know what are your fave pairs to rock in the heat!
Kith x New Balance 990 V2 “Steel Blue” (M990KT2) Review
My newest New Balance pickup is the Kith collaboration on the 990 V2 in “Steel Blue”. Dropping back on April 30th, these are the third shoe in the five pair “Steel Blue” collection, featuring a similar make up of dark grey suede, pale blue mesh panels and light grey leather accents. Check out my review for an in-depth look, and let me know your thoughts on this pair!
Nike Dunk Low “Michigan” Review
Dropping on June 3rd is the “Michigan” Dunk Low by Nike. Although we saw the high top versions release already last year, this iconic colorway returns in low top form to much anticipation. Check out my review for an in-depth look at the shoe as well as the quality of materials, along with an on-feet look. Is this going to be a cop or drop for you?

Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Playoff Pack” Review
The next Nike Kobe shoe set to release is the Kobe 6 Protro “Playoff Pack”. Originally releasing in April 2011, a decade later Nike Basketball is bringing them back in Protro form. Featuring a colour base of white, black and yellow, these were a must for me given its wearability and overall clean look. These release in North America on June 3rd, so let me know if you are going to be trying for them!
Nike SB Dunk Low Pro QS “What The Paul” Review
The Nike SB Dunk Low “What The Paul” pays tribute to pro skateboarder, Paul Rodriguez, and his long standing relationship with Nike SB. Done in the patchwork / mismatching “What The” style, each shoe features different elements of some of P Rod’s past collaborations with Nike, ranging from iconic colourways of the P Rod 1 to P Rod 10, to the Nike SB Dunk High. Check out my review for an in-depth breakdown and on feet look!
Air Jordan 7 Retro “Flint” Review
Fifteen years later, the Air Jordan 7 “Flint” makes its return. Releasing a few weeks back, one of the most beloved non-OG Jordan 7 colourways from 2006 finally made its way back on shelves. My latest video gives you a detailed look at these beauties along with a glimpse of them on feet too! Was this a cop or a drop for you?
Concepts x New Balance 999 “Hyannis Blue” Review
My New Balance grail has been obtained! Thanks to StockX, earlier this month I picked up a pair of the Concepts x New Balance 999 “Hyannis” in the Blue colourway. This Made in US pair is a “remastered” take on the “Kennedy” 999, which was the first ever collab between New Balance and Concepts from back in 2011. Check out my review to learn about all the details and let me know what your all-time New Balance grail sneaker is down below!
Air Jordan 11 Retro Low “Citrus” Review
An Air Jordan 11 classic from 2001 made its return earlier this month, with the women’s “Citrus” low-top colourway! The perfect summer shoe, these feature both white coloured soft smooth leather along with the signature patent shiny leather, and bold orange hits throughout! Check out my review and let me know down below what you think of these! Was this a cop or a drop?
