Top 18 Sneaker Pickups of 2018

It’s that time again, another year in the books! 2018 was the craziest year in my 10+ years of buying sneakers – filled with collabs and heat releases almost every week! Having to narrow down my pickups to only 18 pairs was no easy task but I finally managed to get it done. Check out my countdown as I go from 18 to 1, and see how it compares to your list!

Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Static” Review

To close out 2018, Adidas dropped one more Yeezy Boost 350 V2, this time in a static-patterned primeknit. Most notably, these also replaced the traditional stripe on the lateral side with translucent netting, giving the wearer a unique opportunity to add their own flavour through their sock game. Concepts x Nike Kyrie 5 “Ikhet” Review

Concepts’ latest collab with Nike sees NBA superstar Kyrie Irving’s fifth signature sneaker done with an ancient Egyptian twist. The “Ikhet” colourway, which is a nod to Irving’s Hamsa Hand tattoo and the iconic Pyramids, features tan shades and splashes of purple representing the Egyptian sunset. Check them out in my latest video!

Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low Pro OG QS “Purple Lobster”

Concepts and Nike SB served up another round of lobsters for fans worldwide with the drop of the “Voltage Purple” SB Dunk Low QS! Dressed in a bold purple with hits of white and black to round it out, these continued the recent resurgence of SB Dunks and were a shoe I personally needed to grab for my own. Nike LeBron 16 “SuperBron” Review

This Boxing Week’s all about the hot drops at Foot Locker Canada. Don’t sleep. UNBOX IT #BECAUSESNEAKERS.

My latest unboxing from Foot Locker Canada shows off the latest Nike LeBron 16. Inspired by a player edition “Superman” colourway of the LeBron 3, these take looking heroic to the next level! Check out my review and share your thoughts below!

Puma Clyde Court “Peace on Earth” Review

The next Puma Clyde Court dropped last week, with the “Peace on Earth” colourway, that is inspired by the good will of the holiday season and the hopes for peace on our planet. With design cues taken from the symbolic white dove, Puma is donating $5 for each pair of these shoes sold, to the Trayvon Martin Foundation. A big thank you to Puma Canada for sending these to me!

Transformers x Puma RS-X “Optimus Prime” Review

Puma and Hasbro joined forces to release a special edition Transformers RS-X pack. My newest review covers the “Optimus Prime” colourway which sees bold hits of red and blue on the shoe that are synonymous with the Autobots’ leader. Check out my video and let me know how you feel about these in the comments section below!

Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Volt” Review

Closing out the year, Off-White & Nike have teamed up once again to drop a set of two Air Force 1 Low colourways. Of the two, I was a bigger fan of the super loud “Volt” version that is sure to turn heads everywhere!
