New Balance’s newest variation on their 1906 model is here – the 1906A. This version takes the tradition components of the upper and warps them, like overhanging N-Lock straps, and panels that are seemingly coming off the shoe’s upper. Size? continued their rich history with New Balance with an exclusive colourway of the 860 V2 nicknamed “Bacon”. This pair which released last month, features tones of red, brown and cream, which surrounds the ultra comfortable 860 V2 silhouette. Concepts just released this special edition take on the New Balance 1906 called “Hours and Days”, which pays homage to its 2012 “SEAL” collab on the 999 model. Featuring a mesh base with a variety of overlays in different materials, textures and colours, these still channel the soul of the SEAL 999 even though it’s on a brand new silhouette over a decade later. Australian-based boutique, Above the Clouds, is back with another Asics GT-2160 collaboration. This time, it utilizes brown, cream and red hits, while still retaining the essence of the 2023 “Green” colourway. As usual, a translucent mesh covers the toebox – so your socks matter! Also nicknamed the “Olympic Safari” pack, these feature the iconic Nike safari print on the upper, with black leather and suede hits along with bright blue laces to add some pop. The Whitaker Group continued their ongoing partnership with New Balance, releasing two pairs of the 1906U under the collection called “Willful Bias”. Today I’m reviewing one of those two pairs – the “Electric Teal / Steel” colourway which features a futuristic colour palette with metallic silver, blue, and teal tones.
