The Whitaker Group continued their ongoing partnership with New Balance, releasing two pairs of the 1906U under the collection called “Willful Bias”. Today I’m reviewing one of those two pairs – the “Sand Dune / Shadow Grey” colourway which features a neutral palette in a mix of a knitted upper, suede and leather overlays and more. UK retailer, Footpatrol, released this epic New Balance 1906R collab back in May inspired by X-Rays. This colourway features a mesh build in various blue tones, and translucent TPU overlays with white accents. A X-Ray image of a foot adorns the insole as well, tying it back to the theming perfectly. Today I’m reviewing a pair of the Division Street x Nike Air Max 1, released this past Air Max Day on GOAT, honouring the University of Oregon Ducks. This limited release, only 3000 pairs in existence, feature a premium build with materials like perforated leathers, suedes and iridescent panels. End and Saucony recently teamed up to release this beautiful homage to the legendary Loch Ness Monster in Scotland. Designing this Progrid Triumph 4 to incorporate dark blue mesh, hairy suede layers and textured nubuck akin to Nessie’s scales – these are a beautiful example of a creative but well thought out collab. Capitalizing on the current trend of Y2K running shoes turned everyday sneakers, Nike relaunched the Air Pegasus 2005 model. Zack Bia’s Field Trip Recordings released their second collaboration with Asics, again dropping a Gel-Kayano 14. Action Bronson and New Balance have linked up again to release three colourways of the 1906R. After a limited release on his website, on July 12th there was a wider drop which included this “Medusa Azul” colourway. These are crafted out of mesh, with reflective overlays in various tones of blue and tan accents. Tune into my review of this in-demand colourway and leave your opinions down below!
