Asics recently released this fresh general release colourway of their popular Gel-Kayano 14 model. Named “Simply Taupe / Oatmeal”, it has a more premium feel with a tonal mesh and suede upper, in various shades of cream and beige. X-Men x Kith x Asics Gel-Lyte III 07 Remastered “Wolverine 1975” Review
Celebrating the X-Men’s 60th Anniversary, Kith teamed up with Marvel and Asics to release 7 different colourways of the Gel-Lyte III, each representing different iconic X-Men characters. Costs x Asics Gel-Lyte III OG “Cane Vine” Review
Shenzhen-based label, Costs, recently teamed up with Asics to release their special take on the Gel-Lyte III model. Inspired by lychee vines, these have a very natural look to it, crafted using a mix of brown and pale green suedes, along with hemp panels and unique embroidery. Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Palomino” Review
To kick off September, Jordan Brand dropped a brand new colourway of the Air Jordan 1. The “Palomino” colourway is crafted using smooth black leather, and a premium brown coloured nubuck that has a very natural, raw and untreated feel to it. Kith x Adidas Rod Laver “White / Royal” Review
As part of Kith and Adidas Originals fall 2023 lineup, I picked up one of the shoes that released – the Rod Laver. Named after the Australian tennis great, this shoe dates back to the 70s and has been more of a cult classic sneaker that has retroed a few times throughout history. This new colourway for Kith though is clean, minimalistic, and perfect for those not looking to boldly display a company’s logo on their feet.
HAL Studios x Asics Gel-1130 MK III “Glacier” Review
Australia’s HAL Studios recently dropped their final of three colourways of the Asics GEL-1130. Inspired by the natural world, this minimalistic colourway draws inspiration from the landscapes of glaciers, with a mix of off-white mesh, suede, and brown leathers. Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Dunk Low Pro QS “Wolf Grey / Iron Grey” Review
Yuto Horigome is famously known for being the first ever Olympic gold medalist in the sport of skateboarding, and he recently just dropped his first ever collaboration with Nike SB. These beautiful Dunks are inspired by Ōjima Komatsugawa Park, which is where his spark and love of the sport was formed. Nike SB Dunk Low Premium “Orange / Noise Aqua” (A Dictionary of Colour Combinations) Review
Inspired by the Japanese book, A Dictionary of Colour Combinations, this Nike SB Dunk Low features a vintage, aged looking suede upper in orange tones. blue and teal, along with a yellowed midsole and outsole. Releasing alongside another colourway in a similar theming, these released recently in skateshops which is where I picked these up from. What do you think of this pair – cop or drop?
