This incredibly limited pair first dropped over a decade ago, and was a Japan-exclusive that dropped to celebrate the T23 basketball tournament sponsored by Jordan Brand. Nike Basketball brought back this classic from 2011 – the Nike Kobe 6 “Italian Camo”. Built close to the original but tweaked in “protro” form, these feature a camo printed mesh upper, crimson accents, a full length Cushlon midsole, and Zoom Turbo under the forefoot. Australian-based boutique, Above the Clouds, recently released their take on the Asics GT-2160 model. Opting for tones of green, silver and a translucent mesh toe box, these are one of the more creative takes on this 2010-era running shoe that seen a surge in popularity in the past year. Releasing a couple months ago as a Kith in-store exclusive, the Asics GT-2160 dropped in two Kith-exclusive colourways, including this one in “Cream / Solar Power”. This 2011-performance running shoe is now back as one of Asics’ mainstream lifestyle sneakers, featuring a mix of cream coloured mesh and synthetic silver and yellow coloured overlays. New Balance released the 860 V2 silhouette as part of a “Earth and Mars” pack consisting of two colourways. Today, I’m reviewing the “Mars” colourway on my channel, which features a beige mesh and synthetic nubuck build, and the ultra comfortable midsole that we’ve come to enjoy, used on other models like the 2002R and 1906R. This pair features a mix of cream mesh and synthetic leather layers, with gradient finishes on both the mesh upper and midsole. Nike’s Lunar New Year collection included these Dunk Lows, which mimic the look of the 2011 Air Force 1 which also celebrated the Year of the Rabbit. With a white, blue and red makeup, these are inspired by the colour scheme of the famous Chinese candy, White Rabbit.
