Today I’m reviewing the recently released “Slate Grey” colourway, which is dressed in a mix of grey mesh and suede, creating a simple but clean overall look. These released late last year in 2022 but I finally managed to hit on a recent restock! The “Midnight Navy” Air Jordan 4 is a new colourway of the Air Jordan 4 model but is a very versatile, easy to wear pair that serves as a worthy alternate to the “White Cement” 4. Releasing back in February for the NBA All-Star Game in Utah, Nike Basketball designed this special colourway of the LeBron 20 for The King. Featuring a blue and cream mixed coloured knit upper, it switches things up a bit by incorporating two large reverse Swooshes on the lateral side. Taking us back to 1986, Nike is set to launch this Air Max 1 that pays homage to the originals which featured a larger Air bubble, chunkier midsole, and a different looking upper. Back in the 80s, the original pairs were recalled and redesigned / relaunched with the smaller Air unit that we know today, but this retro is a nod to one of the best little known stories surrounding the iconic Air Max lineage ever told.

Ambush recently released their latest collaboration with Nike, on two colourways of the Air Force 1 Low. I picked up the “Phantom” colourway, which is crafted using premium leather, and features the familiar “Ambush touches” we’ve grown accustomed to, like the oversized TPU Swoosh, exposed tongue, and exaggerated heel counter.
