Each pair is regional specific, and my favourite of the bunch is this “Spindle Tree” (Green) colourway which was available only at Starcow in Paris. New Balance’s newest variation on their 1906 model is here – the 1906A. This version takes the tradition components of the upper and warps them, like overhanging N-Lock straps, and panels that are seemingly coming off the shoe’s upper. This pair which released last month, features tones of red, brown and cream, which surrounds the ultra comfortable 860 V2 silhouette. Concepts just released this special edition take on the New Balance 1906 called “Hours and Days”, which pays homage to its 2012 “SEAL” collab on the 999 model. Featuring a mesh base with a variety of overlays in different materials, textures and colours, these still channel the soul of the SEAL 999 even though it’s on a brand new silhouette over a decade later.
