Saucony celebrated their 30th anniversary of the Shadow 6000 model last year, and one of their biggest drops was the “Food Fight” colourway. The friends at Saucony Canada recently sent me over a pair, which incorporates elements from fifteen past Saucony Originals shoes that are food themed. One of the greatest Adidas shoes to ever release made its return recently, to celebrate the Adidas Equipment line’s 30th anniversary! The EQT Support 93, arguably the most beloved of all the EQT shoes, returned true to its original form and I had to pick up a pair to review! Canadian boutique, Livestock, recently collaboration with Adidas to release an EQT Support 93, as part of Adidas Equipment’s 30 year celebration. This pair is inspired by the prototype and development process of design, with elements like a translucent mesh toebox inspired by tracing paper, and a TPU wing which mirrors the look of a ruler. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the legendary Gel-Lyte III model, Asics and Ronnie Fieg teamed up to release 30 different colourways, sold exclusively at Kith, as part of The Palette collection. I picked up the “Plaster” colourway, which incorporates a grey suede upper with a pale blue midsole and outsole, for a lowkey but very wearable look. As we usher in 2020, this marks the 30th anniversary of the iconic Nike Air Max 90. Originally releasing in 1990, these have stood the test of time, and have been reintroduced by Nike with a revamped shape – closer to the original release from thirty years ago. This debut colour of the new “old” shape, dropped at the end of December in an all Sail makeup. Check out my in-depth review to learn more!
