Kith x New Balance 990 V4 “Dusty Mauve” Review

Coinciding with the re-opening of Kith’s West Hollywood flagship store, the brand linked up with New Balance to release four Made in USA pairs, including the one I’m reviewing today. The 990 V4 in “Dusty Mauve” is built using a mesh base, pigskin suede overlays, and reflective details – all in a mature and wearable colour palette. New Balance and Joe Freshgoods’ latest project, “Let’s Get Weird”, was headlined by three colourways of the New Balance 1890 with inspiration being drawn from the style, colours and vibe of rap music videos from the late 90s. To celebrate their newest flagship store in Osaka, Japan, Kith released this New Balance 991V2 in a familiar colour scheme. Adapting the beloved “Steel Blue” colourway onto the Made in England model, it features premium suede with mesh and synthetic leather overlays.
