Joe Freshgoods’ latest project with New Balance saw the release of 500 pairs of the 650R model, imaging what it would have been like if Michael Jordan signed with New Balance instead of Nike back in 1984. Aimé Leon Dore’s take on the New Balance 650R model finally arrived after preordering these last summer. Nearly identical to its lowcut 550 cousin, these feature the same premium smooth leather, cracked leather New Balance “N” logos, vintage coloured midsoles, and Ortholite insoles.
