Releasing in womens sizing, this pair incorporates throwback Nike design details and swaps out the typical synthetic materials for genuine leathers and suedes. Celebrating the X-Men’s 60th Anniversary, Kith teamed up with Marvel and Asics to release 7 different colourways of the Gel-Lyte III, each representing different iconic X-Men characters. In my final video for this series, I’ll be giving you a detailed review of the ultra limited “Wolverine 1975” colourway, which is based off of Wolverine’s original costume from the 70s. As part of Kith and Adidas Originals fall 2023 lineup, I picked up one of the shoes that released – the Rod Laver. Named after the Australian tennis great, this shoe dates back to the 70s and has been more of a cult classic sneaker that has retroed a few times throughout history. This new colourway for Kith though is clean, minimalistic, and perfect for those not looking to boldly display a company’s logo on their feet.
Nike released the “Air Max Running Club” pack, which is a series of Air Max shoes that are given a retro, 70s flair, inspired by the actual running club, Athletics West, founded by Nike’s co-founders.
