The M992DA colourway is a Made in US model that features clean, white suede, with loud hits of green and hot pink which make the shoe pop. Despite being a limited collab that dropped late last year, I recently scooped up the DTLR x New Balance 992 “Varsity” for just a bit over retail last week. With a collegiate flair to these, this Made in USA pair features premium grey suede, and hits of blue & red nubuck along with bold yellow laces to finish off the design. NYC based menswear label, Todd Snyder, ended off 2021 with another collab with New Balance. Boston-based boutique, Concepts, teamed up with New Balance last month to drop a Kiwi-inspired 992. Paying homage to the “Kiwi Queen”, Frieda Rappaport Caplan, this 992 features a hairy suede upper, with neon green hits throughout resembling the look of the tropical fruit.
