Concepts just released this special edition take on the New Balance 1906 called “Hours and Days”, which pays homage to its 2012 “SEAL” collab on the 999 model. Featuring a mesh base with a variety of overlays in different materials, textures and colours, these still channel the soul of the SEAL 999 even though it’s on a brand new silhouette over a decade later. My New Balance grail has been obtained! Thanks to StockX, earlier this month I picked up a pair of the Concepts x New Balance 999 “Hyannis” in the Blue colourway. This Made in US pair is a “remastered” take on the “Kennedy” 999, which was the first ever collab between New Balance and Concepts from back in 2011.
