Adidas and A Bathing Ape just dropped their latest of many collaborations, this time working together on the 1990s skateboarding shoe model – the Adidas Norton (also called the Adidas Lawsuit or LWST). Changing it up and calling it the “N”, these dropped in late April in two colourways. Check out my video as I review the “Shadow Green” pair, and let me know if this is something you’d rock or not!
Adidas and A Bathing Ape recently (and quietly) released this special edition Campus 80 shoe that celebrated BAPE’s 30th year in business. This under-the-radar release came in special packaging and was dressed in rich, navy blue suede, with mismatching sides of the shoe paying homage to both brands. Releasing earlier this year, New Balance and A Bathing Ape teamed up to release the “Apes Together Strong” collection, which was headlined by two colourways of the 2002R model. The first pair, in a more classic BAPE ABC Camo look, and the other in a muted Grey Camo look, sold out instantly and has been on my radar since they released this past May. BAPE and Adidas dropped their collaboration on the classic Superstar, last week. Featuring the iconic ABC Camo print all over the upper, the shoe is accented with premium leather, metallic dubraes, and co-branding throughout. The Adidas “A to ZX” collection continues with a pair I was very excited for: the ZX 8000 in collaboration with both BAPE and Undefeated! BAPE and Adidas dropped a huge football-inspired collection this past Saturday, and headlining the release were the camo Ultra Boosts in the head-turning “Green” colourway! Selling out instantly, these featuring a BAPE-Camo Primeknit upper with BAPE detailing found throughout the shoe. The latest collaboration between Tokyo-based label BAPE, and Adidas is on the Dame 4 basketball model. Featuring green camo print and signature BAPE details, these were a limited release and a must-have for both fans of Adidas Basketball, as well as the iconic streetwear brand.
