I picked up one of the two, “Bag Lady”, which features a mesh upper, boucle fabric overlays, and reflective hits, all in a wearable colour palette. Danielle Cathari’s run as Creative Director for Kith Women was wrapped up with the release of the “Reverse” New Balance 991 V2. This flips the colours of her previous 991 V2 collab from 2024, featuring a green mesh, with lush brown suede and reflective panels atop. Adorning the familiar colours of the New York Knicks, today I’m reviewing the “Navy” pair, which opts for darker tones contrasted against orange and white hits. Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance ended 2024 with a pre-order of one of their dopest collabs yet. This gorgeous 993 draws inspiration from the bespoke ALD Porsche 993 Turbo, and it exudes that same luxury with premium materials like soft suede and a genuine leather collar. Dropping just in time for summer to kick off, New Balance’s 992 is back in this beautiful “Sweet Caramel” colourway. This Made in USA shoe features similarities to the limited Packer collaboration from years past – with a similar golden suede upper with cream accents (albeit, on a GR model).
