As part of the Adidas Never Made collection, the Rising Star x R1 mashes up old and new, combining the 80s classic runner, the Rising Star with the NMD R1. This past October, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 silhouette released once again with the “Mauve” colourway. Dressed in a darker and more fall appropriate palette, these didn’t quite have the same hype as the initial “Wave Runner” release. Adidas Canada sent me one of the most unique looking sneakers coming out from the Three Stripes kitchen in quite a while – the Futurepacer! Inspired by the 1984 classic Micropacer, this updated take features a Boost midsole with 3M accents. Check out my review and see for yourselves!
The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 finally made its return this year with the debut “Butter” colourway. Featuring a pale neon yellow Primeknit upper atop the ultra comfortable Boost midsole, these were released just in time for summer and were arguably the most easily obtainable colourway to ever release! This past weekend, Japanese label Neighborhood teamed up with Adidas to release a collection of footwear and apparel. My favourite of the pack was the I-5923 (formerly known as the Iniki Runner), done in a monochromatic black and white fashion.
