In celebration of Chinese New Year, author, chef, and TV producer, Eddie Huang teamed up with Adidas to release a special edition Ultra Boost model. Draped in all red with hits of gold, colours synonymous with Chinese culture, these were a must-cop for me, not only because of my own heritage but because they simply are, in my opinion, one of the dopest Ultra Boosts to drop in a long while! BAPE and Adidas dropped a huge football-inspired collection this past Saturday, and headlining the release were the camo Ultra Boosts in the head-turning “Green” colourway! Selling out instantly, these featuring a BAPE-Camo Primeknit upper with BAPE detailing found throughout the shoe. The premiere, the original, the very first Ultra Boost ever is back. Originally dropping in 2015, Adidas has brought back the classic debut colourway of the Ultra Boost 1.0 model, and I definitely didn’t hesitate to double up. Adidas Canada hooked me up, sending me the Ultra Boost 1.0 LTD in the eye catching “Navy / Multi-Colour” colourway! Inspired by the original Chinese New Year 1.0 model, these bring back the glory of the 1.0 Primeknit weave. Check out my latest review and let me know how you feel about them down below!
As part of the Adidas Never Made collection, the Rising Star x R1 mashes up old and new, combining the 80s classic runner, the Rising Star with the NMD R1. Check out my in-depth review and let me know if this is the best of both worlds, or a fusion that doesn’t really work! Thanks to Adidas Canada for the pair!
This past October, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 silhouette released once again with the “Mauve” colourway. Dressed in a darker and more fall appropriate palette, these didn’t quite have the same hype as the initial “Wave Runner” release. Regardless, check out my in-depth review to see more, and let me know how you feel about these in the comments below!

One of the more anticipated collaborations of the year released late last month with the first drops of the Dragon Ball Z x Adidas collection. My personal favourite of the bunch was the Frieza-inspired colourway of the Adidas Yung-1, which features the colours of the famous Dragon Ball Z villain on the chunky silhouette.
