It’s been a while, but my most recent Adidas Ultraboost pickup is the DNA 1.0 pair inspired by the ZX 8000 “Aqua”. These released alongside two other colourways which drew inspiration from similarly iconic ZX shoes. Covered in a light aqua coloured Primeknit, the sneaker sits atop the signature Boost midsole while channeling the vibe of the legendary late-80s runner.
Combining two of Adidas’ best – the Ultra4D debuted this week, incorporating the Ultra Boost 1.0 upper with the futuristic 4D sole. Done in a black and purple based colourway as a nod to the first ever colour of the Ultra Boost, these are a long overdue release that a lot of Adidas fans have been anticipating for a while. Check out my in-depth review for a closer look, and let me know your opinions about these down below!
Adidas’ latest collection of Ultraboosts draws inspiration from the famed Game Of Thrones TV series, with colourways paying homage to the various houses of the show. Foot Locker Canada sent me my favourite pair of the bunch, the “White Walker” colourway that lives up to its name with icy hits of blue, white and black.
