Following up to the highly successful Yeezy Boost 700 model, Adidas released a V2 version to close out 2018. With an all new upper, the “Static” colourway features a mesh upper with overlays of nubuck and reflective 3M, to create a very sleek looking sneaker. Top 18 Sneaker Pickups of 2018
It’s that time again, another year in the books! 2018 was the craziest year in my 10+ years of buying sneakers – filled with collabs and heat releases almost every week! Having to narrow down my pickups to only 18 pairs was no easy task but I finally managed to get it done. Check out my countdown as I go from 18 to 1, and see how it compares to your list!
Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Static” Review
To close out 2018, Adidas dropped one more Yeezy Boost 350 V2, this time in a static-patterned primeknit. Most notably, these also replaced the traditional stripe on the lateral side with translucent netting, giving the wearer a unique opportunity to add their own flavour through their sock game. Adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 “OG” Review
The premiere, the original, the very first Ultra Boost ever is back. Originally dropping in 2015, Adidas has brought back the classic debut colourway of the Ultra Boost 1.0 model, and I definitely didn’t hesitate to double up. Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Mauve” Review
This past October, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 silhouette released once again with the “Mauve” colourway. Dressed in a darker and more fall appropriate palette, these didn’t quite have the same hype as the initial “Wave Runner” release. Regardless, check out my in-depth review to see more, and let me know how you feel about these in the comments below!

Dragon Ball Z x Adidas Yung-1 “Frieza” Review
One of the more anticipated collaborations of the year released late last month with the first drops of the Dragon Ball Z x Adidas collection. My personal favourite of the bunch was the Frieza-inspired colourway of the Adidas Yung-1, which features the colours of the famous Dragon Ball Z villain on the chunky silhouette. Check out my latest review for a closer look!
