The “Rebellionaire” Air Jordan 1 is a twist on the iconic “Banned” or “Bred” Air Jordan 1. Desaturated and free of the red like the NBA wanted back in Jordan’s rookie season, this pair incorporates all-over text taken from the original “Banned” TV commercial. Inspired by the fraternity that Michael Jordan is a part of, Omega Psi Phi, this pair dulls down their colours for a more vintage and faded look. The Air Jordan 1 continues to impress in 2022 with the “Dark Marina Blue” colourway, which is set to release in February. Featuring a combination of smooth black and blue coloured leather, a white midsole breaks up the upper, and all the classic details remain like a nylon tongue and a solid rubber outsole.
