A shoe shrouded in a bit of mystery, the AJKO or Air Jordan 1 KO was a pair that released alongside the Air Jordan 1 as an alternative that incorporated a few tweaks in the design including a canvas upper, and the tooling of the Nike Vandal. Nike has never officially come out to say what the “KO” stands for, but this shoe has retroed various times throughout history. Today’s video I’m reviewing the most recent re-release in the iconic “Chicago” colourway.
Aleali May’s third Air Jordan 1 collaboration released earlier this week, with the “Califia” colourway. This time, the collab was done on the women’s Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT, which a reworked version of the classic model that is supposedly more comfortable than its predecessor. The Air Jordan 1 “Hyper Royal” is set to drop this Saturday, April 17th! One of the nicest colourways so far this year, these are constructed in a worn-in-looking blue suede and white leather combination. Definitely one of the most sought after Air Jordan 1s this year, check out my review for an early look at all the details!
The Air Jordan 1 returns in a very unique colourway. Nicknamed “Rust Shadow”, it incorporates a rusted looking leather on the forefoot, a premium black leather base, and grey nubuck on the heel. Check out my review to learn more about them and for my on feet look! Is this a cop or drop for you?

With colours paying home to Michael Jordan’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina, these adopt the same colour blocking style as the iconic “Chicago” Air Jordan 1. One of the most anticipated shoes so far of 2021, the original “Neutral Grey” colourway of the Air Jordan 1 high finally returns tomorrow, February 10th. Last seen in 1985, these are crafted in the remastered “85” form, which Nike claims is a closer reproduction to the original Air Jordan 1 silhouette than its normal retro releases. My latest review covers the upcoming Air Jordan 1 “Black / Metallic Gold”, set to release November 30th! This colourway is constructed out of black and gold patent leather for a super shiny finish to them. Looking similar to the 2003 mid version, these incorporate a bit more gold to them, but generally have a similar look. One of the best SB Dunks to release this year, my latest review covers the “J-Pack Chicago” colourway which draws its inspiration from the iconic “Chicago” Air Jordan 1. The familiar red, white and black tones cover the leather upper, which translates perfectly from the Jordan 1 silhouette to the Dunk. Big thanks to StockX for hooking it up and sponsoring this video!
Originally released as a 3000 pair Japan-exclusive back in 2001, the “Midnight Navy” Air Jordan 1 made its return a few weeks back! Changing things up from your typical Jordan 1, with oval laces, a leather tongue and a non-traditional Nike Air embroidery on the tongue, these are still beauties to me, and a pair I was very excited to pick up.
