Dropping this past Air Max Day, the Nike Air Max 1 “Evolution of Icons” celebrates the legendary Air Max silhouettes that came before it in this mismatching “What The” styled shoe. Taking components of iconic colourways of past Air Max models like the “Infrared” Air Max 90, “Neon” Air Max 95, and “Silver Bullet” Air Max 97, these are a great pair to celebrate 34 years of Air Max. Nike Toronto held a Nike Air Gallery for four local artists, celebrating the Air Max 270 and also serving as a platform to showcase the artists’ creativity, passion and community. Held on Air Max Day, the space held a series of art installations, interactive stations for the public, and a chance to grab a variety of Nike-branded memorabilia for $3.26 each (get the reference?). Probably the most sought after release of this year’s Air Max month calendar, the winner of last year’s Vote Forward contest finally dropped worldwide on Air Max Day.
