Nike Air Max 1 Slide “White / University Red” & “White / Black” Review

Nike recently released a couple of slides, inspired by the look of the iconic Air Max 1. Releasing in two colourways, I picked up both to review, each crafted using a mix of mesh, suede, foam, and of course, the signature visible Air bubble on the heel. Check out my review and let me know if you’d rock these this summer or not!

Nike Air Max 1 Premium “Shima Shima” (Plum Eclipse) Review

Inspired by the 2003 pack of the same name, Nike Sportswear released the “Shima Shima” Air Max 1 in “Plum Eclipse” earlier this year with that signature striped pattern on the inner liner. Featuring a premium leather and suede construction, it takes the classic Air Max 1 colour blocking style with a mix of brown, grey and white. Check out my review and let me know what you think!

Nike Air Max 1 ’86 OG “Big Bubble” Review

Taking us back to 1986, Nike is set to launch this Air Max 1 that pays homage to the originals which featured a larger Air bubble, chunkier midsole, and a different looking upper. Back in the 80s, the original pairs were recalled and redesigned / relaunched with the smaller Air unit that we know today, but this retro is a nod to one of the best little known stories surrounding the iconic Air Max lineage ever told.

Nike Air Max 1 “Summit White Safari” Review

Nike Sportswear recently dropped a super clean colourway of the women’s Air Max 1, featuring the beloved safari print. The muted colour palette of the shoe allows the safari print detailing to shine, making this a very wearable sneaker to wear for all seasons. Check out my review to learn more!

Nike Air Max 1 Premium “Pecan” (Ugly Duckling Pack) Review

A few weeks back, Nike Sportswear released a duo of Air Max 1 colourways inspired by the 2001 Japan-exclusive “Ugly Duckling” Dunk pack. This “Pecan” colourway is the perfect fall / winter coloured shoe, with brown shades accented with bold yellow hits on the Swoosh and laces. Check out my review and let me know how ugly you think these really are!
