Dropping a few weeks back to celebrate the NBA All-Star Game was the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Sail”. This special edition release replaces the snake scales on the lateral side with showtime stars, paying homage to basketball fans’ favourite February event. The colourway is all about simplicity with a light toned upper accented with a black Swoosh. Tune into my review and leave your thoughts on these below!
The original “Lightning” colourway of the Air Jordan 17 Low finally received its first retro, as Jordan Brand brought them back in late May just a few weeks ago. Staying true to what MJ wore in the 2002 NBA All-Star Game, it features a soft white leather, chrome detailing, and striking yellow along the TPU on the midsole. Releasing back in February for the NBA All-Star Game in Utah, Nike Basketball designed this special colourway of the LeBron 20 for The King. Featuring a blue and cream mixed coloured knit upper, it switches things up a bit by incorporating two large reverse Swooshes on the lateral side. Part of the Nike Galaxy pack for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, the legendary LeBron 9 “Big Bang” was retroed for the first time a decade later and dropped this past February in the US.
