Part of the “Keep Your Family Close” collection, this Made in USA sneaker features an olive pigskin coloured suede, bold lime green nubuck overlays, and grey hits. Amsterdam-based boutique, Patta, continued their line of “Wavy” Air Max 1 collabs with the release of the “White / Pure Platinum” colourway late last month. Featuring a reworked wavy mudguard, it incorporates a clean palette of white, grey and silver resulting in a very simple but wearable shoe. My latest pickup is a New Balance 998 that dropped in 2019. With a Parra “Amsterdam” vibe to them, these 998s are Made in USA, and feature a luxurious burgundy suede upper with teal and grey hits throughout. The second shoe of Nike’s Air Max 1 City Pack has arrived! I picked up the “Amsterdam” colourway recently, which is the warmer-toned counterpart to the “London” pair I recently reviewed. With beige, tan and khaki hits throughout, these are a nod to the amazing capital city of The Netherlands. Check out my review to learn more!
One of my favourite pickups of the year so far, the Air Max 1 returned last week paying homage to the city of London, as part of a two-shoe City Pack! With a multi-toned grey and blue upper, these incorporate premium materials and small touches paying tribute to London’s icons. Renowned Dutch artist, Piet Parra, is back with another collaboration with Nike, headlined by the Air Max 1. These were a super limited drop, releasing July 21st in only one store in all of Canada (for men’s sizes). Luckily I got my hands on a pair and these are easily one of my fave drops in 2018!
