Amsterdam-based boutique, Patta, celebrated their 20th anniversary by bringing back one of the most beloved Air Max 1s of all time earlier this month! The “Chlorophyll” Air Max 1 originally released in 2009 to honour Patta’s then-fifth anniversary. 15 years later, and it’s finally returned true to OG form.
2024 marks the 35th anniversary of the iconic New Balance 1500. Originally released in 1989, it continues to be one of the brand’s most popular models, so its fitting that they released this special edition colourway for the moment! One of the greatest New Balance collaborations of all time is back. The Concepts 998 “C-Note” originally released in 2013 and quickly gained cult status. Fast forward a decade later, to celebrate its 10th anniversary, the shoe has returned nearly identical to its original form. To celebrate the Kayano-line’s 30th anniversary, Asics released this mashup model, the Gel-Kayano Legacy, consisting of elements from 8 past Kayano silhouettes. Celebrating the X-Men’s 60th Anniversary, Kith teamed up with Marvel and Asics to release 7 different colourways of the Gel-Lyte III, each representing different iconic X-Men characters. Today’s video I’ll be giving you a detailed review of the “Gambit” colourway, which pays homage to the card throwing Cajun who debuted in 1990. This Made in USA pair is done in the classic grey colour scheme, but ruby red hits pay homage to the 990 V1’s upcoming 40th anniversary. To celebrate Bodega’s 15th year anniversary, they collaborated with New Balance to release a Made in USA 990 V3! This pair is crafted using premium suedes in various earthy, olive and khaki tones.
