This mashup sneaker mixes the upper of the Gel-Kayano 12 with the tooling of the Gel-Nimbus 17, one pair in Cream and Pure Aqua, and the other as a nod to the New York Knicks. It’s been a while, but my most recent Adidas Ultraboost pickup is the DNA 1.0 pair inspired by the ZX 8000 “Aqua”. These released alongside two other colourways which drew inspiration from similarly iconic ZX shoes. Covered in a light aqua coloured Primeknit, the sneaker sits atop the signature Boost midsole while channeling the vibe of the legendary late-80s runner.
