I picked up my first ever pair of the Asics Gel-Nunobiki, with this pair being part of the 6-pair collection released in collaboration with Kith. French fashion brand, A.P.C. joined up with Asics to drop a collection inspired by tennis. LA-based brand Gallery Dept continues their partnership with Asics, releasing a couple colourways of the mashup silhouette, the Gel-K1011. Dropping a few months ago, I caught a restock of my fave colourway – “White / Pure Silver”, which reminds me of the iconic Gundam robots. Multi-hyphenate creative director Juliana Salazar just dropped her collaboration with Asics. Her take on the Gel-Kayano 14 is full of elegance, with a tonal tan upper crafted out of open mesh and suede.
