Earls Collection, founded by former pro-rugby player Lewis Brown, released their first collaboration with Asics earlier this month. This pair pays homage to Brown’s Maori roots, with almost every single component of this shoe directly tied to the culture. Asics dropped the Earthenware Pack, consisting of two colourways of the Gel-Kayano 14 inspired by earth tones in nature. Today I’m reviewing the “Sage White” colourway, which is crafted using ripstop nylon and synthetic layers in tonal grey shades. Today I’ll be reviewing the Asics GT-2160 “Kogarashi”, which was interestingly a pair designed by “Tomo Accounts” (or friends) of Asics, including End Clothing, Sneakersnstuff, Slam Jam, and Naked. I finally picked up a pair of the Asics Gel-NYC! This new lifestyle silhouette which debuted earlier this year, has released in a variety of colours and today I’ll be reviewing the “Concrete / Oatmeal” pair. Inspired by past silhouettes from Asics’ archive, these feature a mix of mesh, suede, and synthetic panels, giving it a mid 2000s design flare. Check out my review to learn more!

To celebrate the Kayano-line’s 30th anniversary, Asics released this mashup model, the Gel-Kayano Legacy, consisting of elements from 8 past Kayano silhouettes. Releasing a couple months ago as a Kith in-store exclusive, the Asics GT-2160 dropped in two Kith-exclusive colourways, including this one in “Cream / Solar Power”. This 2011-performance running shoe is now back as one of Asics’ mainstream lifestyle sneakers, featuring a mix of cream coloured mesh and synthetic silver and yellow coloured overlays. Asics recently released this fresh general release colourway of their popular Gel-Kayano 14 model. Named “Simply Taupe / Oatmeal”, it has a more premium feel with a tonal mesh and suede upper, in various shades of cream and beige. Celebrating the X-Men’s 60th Anniversary, Kith teamed up with Marvel and Asics to release 7 different colourways of the Gel-Lyte III, each representing different iconic X-Men characters.
