New Balance recently released a trio of 550 colourways, headlined by my personal favourite, the Green colourway! Looking similar to the Aime Leon Dore collaboration from 2020, these adopt a similar colour scheme of smooth white leather, with suede overlays and green coloured hits throughout. Check out my review and let me know if you’re feeling these or not!
The Adidas Canada family sent me a pair of the Forum Low in the classic White / Blue colourway. This is the low-top version of the classic 80s basketball sneaker, constructed out of leather and featuring a removeable strap which I love! Check out my detailed review for a closer look!
Eric Emanuel and Adidas teamed up to release a pair of the Forum 84 High, inspired by the McDonald’s All-American Games! One of the greatest Kobe Bryant shoes of all time made its return this past Christmas Eve, in time for its 10th year anniversary. Worn by the late Kobe Bryant during his sneaker free agency year in 2002-2003, the “Yellow Toe” Question Mid finally releases to the public this New Years Eve, 2020! Done in the familiar Lakers colours, these are a nod to two legends of the game, Iverson and Bryant! Check out my review for a closer look, and big thanks to Foot Locker Canada and Reebok Canada for the early oop!
Puma Canada send me the recently released silhouette from Puma Basketball – the Puma Uproar. Dressed in teal, purple, navy and orange to pay homage to the City of Charlotte’s current and former NBA franchises, these dropped during the recent NBA All-Star Weekend! The future of footwear is here! The Nike Adapt BB incorporates what we once thought was mere fantasy into reality with a self-lacing system that be controlled via your smartphone! Designed as a performance basketball sneaker, and sold at a much more accessible price point, these were incredibly limited in Canada, but I managed to lineup and grab a pair!
