Just when you thought my year was over – I’m back with one final video to close out 2023. Nike Basketball released a brand new take on the Kobe 4 Protro, nicknamed “Gift of Mamba”. This premium rendition of the Kobe 4 opts for genuine nubuck and leather construction, in a blacked-out colourway. Check out my detailed review and on feet look to see more!
The next Nike Kobe shoe set to release is the Kobe 6 Protro “Playoff Pack”. Originally releasing in April 2011, a decade later Nike Basketball is bringing them back in Protro form. Featuring a colour base of white, black and yellow, these were a must for me given its wearability and overall clean look. These release in North America on June 3rd, so let me know if you are going to be trying for them!
With the recent announcement that Kobe Bryant and Nike’s contract has ended, I wanted to share my thoughts in today’s episode about the situation and the feasibility of a “pre-order” system for Kobe’s shoes. Would this actually work for all parties involved?
