Before 2021 ends, I picked up another New Balance shoe. This time it’s the 1500 in the “Slate Blue / Grey” colourway. This made in England pair is incredibly crafted, with quality nubuck in a cool, simple combination of grey and blue tones. The sequel to the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 recently arrived, with the “Noise Aqua” colourway! Switching things up, the Amsterdam-based boutique swaps the classic Air Max 1 midsole with a wavy one, creating a small but distinct change that surely will catch people’s attention. Released in September, I finally picked up a pair of the Levi’s and New Balance collab on the 990 V3. Of the two pairs that dropped, I opted for the “Mallard Blue” colourway, which incorporates actual Levi’s Shrink to Fit denim on the upper, along with hairy suede. Today I’m reviewing one of the most hyped releases of the year – the triple collaboration between Fragment Design, Travis Scott, and Jordan Brand on the Air Jordan 1 High! Adopting a predominantly white-based colour scheme, hits of blue, black and sail provide some contrast on this colourway inspired by an unreleased sample Air Jordan 1 from 1985. The signature oversized reverse swoosh adorns the lateral side of the shoe, while logos of all three are visible throughout the shoe. Check out my review and let me know what you think!
