Brought back true to OG form, these feature a two layered mesh upper, two tones of grey leather, and blue and red accents throughout. Celebrating Toronto’s diversity and multicultural make up, these feature a mix of materials like leather, nylon and 3M, in familiar skyline (and Blue Jays) colours of white, blue and red. Joe Freshgood’s latest New Balance project, “Prom to Paris”, features two monochromatic 990 V6s. Today, I’m reviewing one of the two, the “Prom Blue” colourway which covers the entire sneaker with a beautiful light blue shade in a mix of materials like genuine suede and mesh. UK retailer, Footpatrol, released this epic New Balance 1906R collab back in May inspired by X-Rays. This colourway features a mesh build in various blue tones, and translucent TPU overlays with white accents. A X-Ray image of a foot adorns the insole as well, tying it back to the theming perfectly. End and Saucony recently teamed up to release this beautiful homage to the legendary Loch Ness Monster in Scotland. Designing this Progrid Triumph 4 to incorporate dark blue mesh, hairy suede layers and textured nubuck akin to Nessie’s scales – these are a beautiful example of a creative but well thought out collab. I’m back today reviewing not one, but two general release colourways of Asics’ Gel-Quantum 360 VIII model. The latest under the Gel-Quantum banner, this model was introduced earlier this year, and these are two of the colourways which I picked up recently. Action Bronson and New Balance have linked up again to release three colourways of the 1906R. After a limited release on his website, on July 12th there was a wider drop which included this “Medusa Azul” colourway. These are crafted out of mesh, with reflective overlays in various tones of blue and tan accents. Tune into my review of this in-demand colourway and leave your opinions down below!
