To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Jordan Brand launched a huge marketing campaign surrounding the release of the Air Jordan 1 High 85 “Bred” (Banned). This iconic sneaker was rebuilt to mimic the look of its original release from 1985. The “Rebellionaire” Air Jordan 1 is a twist on the iconic “Banned” or “Bred” Air Jordan 1. Desaturated and free of the red like the NBA wanted back in Jordan’s rookie season, this pair incorporates all-over text taken from the original “Banned” TV commercial. The Air Jordan 1 returns in the iconic “Bred” or “Black / Red” colourway but with a twist! This version features an upper entirely constructed out of shiny patent leather, which gives the pair that extra pop and shine. Although delayed, these are supposedly set to drop at the end of this month, so who is planning on trying to cop these?

Collegium is set to drop two limited colourways of their highly successful Pillar Destroyer High this week. Inspired by the Air Jordan 1 “Bred” and “Royal”, similar colour schemes are chosen for the upcoming drop on June 26th, but they are constructed using the same, top grain Italian leather that the brand has become known for.
