Canadian abstract artist, Callen Schaub, is set to launch his first ever collaboration with Saucony. Releasing two pairs on May 6th, today I’m reviewing one of the two – the Progrid Omni 9. This pair features a textile upper which pays homage to Schaub’s art style, alongside white and black leather overlays. Check out my detailed review to learn more and to see how these are on feet! To celebrate the opening of Kith’s Toronto location, they are releasing two Canadian-themed colourways of the New Balance 1700. Today I’m reviewing the “Rococco Red” colourway which was sold first in-store at Kith Toronto to coincide with their opening day. Crafted using red pig-suede, they also have Kith co-branding throughout, and cream / white toned accents as well. Check out my review and drop a comment below!
Canadian streetwear brand, Raised by Wolves, is back with their second collaboration with Saucony in 2023. Inspired by the look of a wolf, the Grid Azura 2000 is built using a mix of genuine suedes, ripstop nylon, and reflective 3M layers reminiscent of a wolf’s teeth. Canadian boutique, Livestock, recently collaboration with Adidas to release an EQT Support 93, as part of Adidas Equipment’s 30 year celebration. This pair is inspired by the prototype and development process of design, with elements like a translucent mesh toebox inspired by tracing paper, and a TPU wing which mirrors the look of a ruler.
