This “Year of the Snake” colourway pairs smooth white and grey leather with ripstop nylon (reminiscent of snakeskin) and iridescent accents. Shenzhen-based label, Costs, recently dropped another Asics collaboration, this time on the GT-2160 silhouette. Inspired by “Shao Ji”, a traditional bamboo woven basket, these are crafted in cream tones, with navy blue accents, in a mix of mesh and suede. Nike’s Lunar New Year collection included these Dunk Lows, which mimic the look of the 2011 Air Force 1 which also celebrated the Year of the Rabbit. With a white, blue and red makeup, these are inspired by the colour scheme of the famous Chinese candy, White Rabbit.
