Last week, Kith released their special collaboration with Madison Square Garden, dropping two colourways of the New Balance 990 V6. Inspired by the teams that call MSG home, the pair I’m reviewing today draw inspiration from the team colours of the NHL’s New York Rangers. This Made in USA pair features a predominantly navy blue upper, with the Rangers’ signature red and blue hits seen throughout, along with an icy outsole as a nod to the sport. Colour Plus Companie x Saucony Grid Shadow 2 “Arctic Trek” Review
Colour Plus Companie released the final shoe in the three-shoe Grid Shadow 2 pack with Saucony. Inspired by arctic terrain, this shoe takes a 90s performance running shoe and turns it into more of a trail running shoe with its material and colour choices. Check out my video to learn more and drop your thoughts about these down below!
Size? x New Balance 1906R (Diamond District) “Green” Review
The Size? x New Balance “Diamond District Pack” of 1906Rs released today, and I’ll be reviewing the “Green” colourway. This pair draws inspiration from vintage luxury watches, swapping out the traditional materials for more premium materials. Let me know how you feel about this unique looking colourway, is this something you’d wear or not? Big thanks to Size? Canada for sending me over this pair!
Asics GT- 2160 (Tomo) “Kogarashi” Review
Today I’ll be reviewing the Asics GT-2160 “Kogarashi”, which was interestingly a pair designed by “Tomo Accounts” (or friends) of Asics, including End Clothing, Sneakersnstuff, Slam Jam, and Naked. Kogarashi refers to when summer meets winter, so this shoe features a mix of warm and cool tones that somehow mesh well together cohesively. Check out my video and let me know what you think!
Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air Flea 2 “Faded Spruce” Review
Easily one of the strangest sneakers I’ve ever picked up – today I’m reviewing the Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air Flea 2. Releasing a few weeks back, this is part art, part sneaker, as it tests the limits of what is considered “acceptable” footwear. Check out my review to learn more and to find out how these fit! Anyone else scoop up a pair on CPFM’s website?
Carhartt WIP x New Balance 990 V6 “Workwear” Review
Marvel x Adidas Ultra 4D “Spider-Man 2” Review
Playstation Canada hooked me up with a pair of the recently released Adidas 4D in collaboration with Marvel, to celebrate the launch of the new Spider-Man 2 video game by Insomniac Studios and Sony. Featuring a red Primeknit upper, blue overlays and white stripes (as a nod to Spider-Man’s advanced suit), the 4D midsole represents the Venom symbiote taking over Peter’s costume. Check out my review to learn more and to see how these look on feet! Anyone else grab a pair of these?
Above the Clouds x Asics GT-2160 “Cream / Shamrock Green” Review
Australian-based boutique, Above the Clouds, recently released their take on the Asics GT-2160 model. Opting for tones of green, silver and a translucent mesh toe box, these are one of the more creative takes on this 2010-era running shoe that seen a surge in popularity in the past year.
