UK retailer, End, teamed up with Asics to release the “Pearl” Gel-Lyte III. This beautiful pair incorporates suede and tumbled leather in tones of grey, lavender and cream. A-Cold-Wall and Converse recently joined forces to release a collection, headlined by the Chuck Taylor All Star Lugged High! This minimalistic but rugged trail-like take on the Chuck Taylor All Star is done in a variety of materials including nylon and heavily rubberized side panels for all-weather wear. Ronnie Fieg and Asics teamed up again to release the Tokyo Trio collection, consisting of three pairs of Gel-Lyte IIIs. Arguably the most sought after of the pack, which I’m covering in my lastest review, is the “252.1” colourway, which is a nod to the first Asics collab Fieg ever worked on, stretching back to his days working at David Z.
