Kith recently released two pairs of the New Balance 1906R, in opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to their colour palettes. This pair is crafted using genuine suedes along the upper, while still retaining that signature look of past models with Bad Bunny branding, and that “drip” effect along the midsole. Social Status concludes its four-shoe Nike Mac Attack pack with the upcoming release of the “Status Symbol” colourway. Releasing on March 8th, these feature a mix of white mesh, suede overlays, and removable satin panels which reveal a different suede colour underneath. This pair pays homage to Brown’s Maori roots, with almost every single component of this shoe directly tied to the culture. As part of Aimé Leon Dore’s Spring / Summer ’24 collection, the brand quietly released this New Balance 990 V6 “Incense” to the surprise of many. This Made in USA pair features cream, brown, and beige tones, drawing comparison to the “Mindful Grey” (Cream) general release pair from 2023. New Balance and JJJJound released their second interpretation of the 2002R silhouette, this time made for the winter weather with Gore-Tex! Two colourways released earlier this month, one in “Charcoal”, and the one I’ll be reviewing – the “Pine” colourway. This waterproof version of New Balance’s ever-popular silhouette features black mesh and plush dark green suede that looks good and also is functional!
