Aimé Leon Dore brought back a 1982 tennis sneaker from New Balance – the T500. Releasing as part of the brand’s Fall / Winter 2023 lineup, they dropped in three colourways. Today, I’ll be reviewing my fave of the three, the “White / Green” pair, that features quality leather uppers and vintage colour blocking atop a classic, clean, silhouette design. Releasing a couple months ago as a Kith in-store exclusive, the Asics GT-2160 dropped in two Kith-exclusive colourways, including this one in “Cream / Solar Power”. This 2011-performance running shoe is now back as one of Asics’ mainstream lifestyle sneakers, featuring a mix of cream coloured mesh and synthetic silver and yellow coloured overlays. Colour Plus Companie released their second ever collaboration with Saucony with the release of the “Beach Ramble” Grid Shadow 2. Inspired by coastal trails, this shoe takes a 90s performance running shoe and turns it into more of a trail running shoe with its material and colour choices. Japanese label, WTAPS, is back with their third collaboration with New Balance, this time on the 990 V6 silhouette. Opting for a greyscale look, it’s built using a mix of mesh and suede in various tones of grey. Celebrating the X-Men’s 60th Anniversary, Kith teamed up with Marvel and Asics to release 7 different colourways of the Gel-Lyte III, each representing different iconic X-Men characters. Shenzhen-based label, Costs, recently teamed up with Asics to release their special take on the Gel-Lyte III model. Inspired by lychee vines, these have a very natural look to it, crafted using a mix of brown and pale green suedes, along with hemp panels and unique embroidery. Yuto Horigome is famously known for being the first ever Olympic gold medalist in the sport of skateboarding, and he recently just dropped his first ever collaboration with Nike SB. These beautiful Dunks are inspired by Ōjima Komatsugawa Park, which is where his spark and love of the sport was formed. Releasing later this week is the triple collaboration between Jordan Brand, Union LA, and Bephies Beauty Supply. Headlined by two pairs of Air Jordan 1s, today I’m giving you all an early look at the Air Jordan 1 High which incorporates a woven layer, taken from the Nike Air Footscape. This pair also incorporates beautiful, tumbled sail coloured leather, grey accents and gold or yellow detailing throughout. Size? and New Balance released an exclusive colourway of the 990 V3, just as the silhouette has been slowing down. This “Orange / Cream” colourway features beautiful, buttery suede, slick mesh, and reflective detailing throughout in a fall ready colour palette.
